What’s the difference between our bouncers?

All our bouncers have the same construction and features. The only difference between them is the style of the accompanying fabric seat.

The fabric seats fit both our baby bouncers and can be purchased separately, so it’s easy to switch if you want a different look, colour or fabric. You’ll find extra fabric seats here.

Why should I buy a baby bouncer?
Our lightweight bouncers are easy to move around and take with you – they’re a cosy place for your baby to play close by you, while you have your hands free for a while. The natural rocking of a bouncer usually has a comforting effect on a very young baby. As your baby grows and learns how to control the rocking, the bouncer becomes even more fun, and also stimulates your baby’s balance and motor skills.

Is the baby bouncer easy to take with you?
Yes, Bouncer Balance Bliss is lightweight and easy to fold up. You can move it around your home or take it with you to dinner at a friend’s house (when folded up, the bouncer fits perfectly in the basket under your pram). It also has a smart and practical transport bag, which you’ll find here.

What’s the difference between a baby bouncer and a baby swing?
Our baby bouncer offers natural rocking generated by your baby’s own movements, unlike a battery or electrically powered baby swing. This means that our baby bouncer weighs less, making it easier to move around and take with you.

Does my baby get the correct support in a bouncer from BabyBjörn?
Our bouncers have an ergonomic design that provides the optimal support to your baby’s back, neck and head. The fitted fabric seat distributes your baby’s weight evenly, and the bouncer’s three different positions mean that you can adjust it as your baby grows.

How long can I use Bouncer Balance Bliss?
Bouncer Balance Bliss can be used from newborn and up to the age of 2 years. In the earlymonths, until your baby starts trying to sit up, you can use it as a bouncer. You can then use the bouncer as a comfortable child seat by simply reversing the fabric seat.

What makes the baby bouncer rock?
Our bouncer rocks gently when your baby waves their arms and legs. No batteries are required – our baby bouncer runs on pure fun!

Can you change the fabric seat?
Yes, the fabric seat is very easy to attach and remove. This is ideal if you need to wash it (all of our fabric seats are machine washable) or want to give your bouncer a makeover with a new colour or fabric. Our fabric seats fit all of our baby bouncers and you’ll find them here.

The common traits among all our fabrics include being super soft, durable, and easy to care for. They’re also gentle on the skin and free from any harmful levels of substances.

Can I machine wash the fabric seat?

Yes, it’s super easy to clean—just toss it in the wash on warm (40°C). While the fabric seat can handle frequent washing, let's do our part for the planet: use lower wash temperatures and don't over-wash. For minor stains, a quick brush-off usually does the trick. Plus, our products are free from any harmful levels of substances, so there's no need to wash them before their first use.

Is it safe for my baby to suck on the baby bouncer?

Yes, we've chosen to certify our materials under either Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, Class 1, or bluesign® Grade A – for products designed for babies and close-to-skin contact. This means that they’re kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste. These certifications set exceptionally high bars to ensure that no harmful levels of chemicals find their way into products meant for your little ones.
